BI l Digital Marketing introduces an Extensible Customer Engagement (ECE) Methodology designed to meet the changing needs of companies competing in customer-centric marketplace.
A new website, www.digitalmarketing.com, provides details on ECE and other information important to senior-level management.
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
MINNEAPOLIS, April 15, 2009 – BI l Digital Marketing launched its new website today introducing a new and proprietary Extensible Customer Engagement (ECE) program designed for a pull economy and intended to help client companies gain competitive advantage by adapting to a more customer-centric approach to marketing.
The program is not just another philosophy or technology, according to BI l Digital Marketing president and co-founder, Michael D. Nelson, but a methodology for execution, built on a strategic framework with a deeper level of insight, mapping and a digital infrastructure to manage triggered communications at key points across the customer lifecycle.
“The market dynamic has shifted radically over the past 10 years,” Nelson says, “from push to a pull, from selling to buying. The customer is in control, right now more so than ever before. Yet most companies are still organized and operating in a push business model evolved from the industrial age, focused on products and distribution channels.”
Nelson believes right now is the time, while the economy is down and consumer confidence shaken, for companies to gain competitive advantage by engaging with customers at a deeper, more emotional level, focused not on selling but on building trust in the brand, while extending the lifecycle and optimizing revenue opportunity.
BI | Digital Marketing is a wholly owned subsidiary of BI, headquartered in Minneapolis and founded in 1995 as a true marketing agency—marketing defined as the process of acquiring, retaining and growing profitable customers. ECE provides the structure and process.
